Dear Beloved Vapor95 Customers & Supporters

I want to personally provide an update on what's been going on with Vapor95. Many of you have been waiting on your orders or recently received products that are not the same quality as our previous products. While many delayed orders have now shipped, I want to be completely transparent about what happened and where we stand.

What Happened:

Since April, our former reliable manufacturing partner of 8+ years has slowly collapsed. They closed their facilities in CA, liquidated their assets, and essentially became brokers to a third-party manufacturer. All while deceiving us that production was continuing as normal. We were not informed of the extent of this transition, change in materials, and other style modifications. After their "relocation," production began to fall significantly behind.

We were continually assured that "orders were going out." In reality, they didn't have production lines for specific styles set up, or an actual pipeline set up to process the orders correctly. Ultimately this led to late orders and on-going delays. The insidiousness of their full deception was further revealed by their continued collection of production invoices from Vapor95.

This led to substantial financial losses for Vapor95; from having to pay twice for many orders, the double shipping costs from split orders, misprinted and poorly manufactured garments, and most egregiously it has threatened the loss of our customers' faith in a company they have supported for so many years.

We were not the only company hurt by this manufacturer's business practices. Many large brands were impacted, and some were even forced to close permanently.

I am not going to let that happen to Vapor95.

The Path Onward:

We are now partnering with one of the largest and most reliable all-over-print and direct to garment manufacturers in North America. They are aligned with our pledge to create the highest quality clothing from the most premium materials available in the U.S.

By November, we'll be able to introduce guaranteed production times of 2-5 business days on almost all items.

Having to transition to a new manufacturer in this abrupt way means that we need to rebuild all of our art files in order to print each item ordered. Right now, we are working on manually creating all the art files for any remaining delayed orders.

If your order is delayed it's because we need to remake the art panels for your item before we are able to complete your order. We have a long list of art files we need to recreate, and every day we are making progress towards completing all of our back orders.

I want to provide the highest quality garments possible without cutting corners or settling for quick work arounds. But this takes time. I expect to be fully caught up within a two week production timeframe by the end of the month. Denim jeans have finished production and are on their way to me now.

This has been the most challenging situation for Vapor95 since our launch in 2016.

We are a small business, and were not prepared for this situation, but we are determined to emerge a better company. Better clothing, better styles, better quality, and a renewed commitment to what makes Vapor95 unique and special.

We hope to continue to serve the Vaporwave community for many years to come.

To everyone who has shown and voiced their support, either through being patient with us through this time, or simply expressing how much Vapor95 means to you: Thank You

Your support of Vapor95 means everything to me, and I am committed to restoring your full faith in Vapor95.

With Gratitude,

River
